I"m feeling decidedly sour creamish again, so taquitos. I thought about chicken nuggets, but...honey mustard just won't do when you're feeling sour creamish!
The temps were downright cool today so I turned on the oven and made a pasta casserole. Since it's supposed to heat up again this weekend I won't have to worry because we'll have plenty of leftovers.
Hot dogs with cheese and onions! Today and tomorrow. Then, on Thursday, I'm grocery shopping. I make pick up something wonderful and frozen to toss in the oven. Lasagna? That could happen.
It was a bit cooler on Monday, so I made Black Beans and Rice. Made enough for 3 meals, so after the same yesterday, it'll likely be the final serving tonight.
Another cool and pleasant day so turning the oven on again to make veggie quinoa burgers with all the trimmings. Clementine and honeycrisp apple for dessert.
Today was another pickle relish day,and an elderberry day,so he went to town and picked up a pizza and cheesy italian bread from Little Caesars.Half the price of Dominos and pretty darn good!
i'll heat up some split pea with ham soup, if it's thawed. otherwise, i'll have a grilled cheese sandwich. a slice of raspberry marble bread with a little margarine for dessert!
I took a chicken breast out of the freezer yesterday and stuck it in the fridge to thaw; it's big enough for both of us. Chicken sandwiches, corn on the cob (the first from the garden), and bean salad. Iced tea.
We did make it to Trader Joe's but I ended up deciding to make scrambled eggs and loaded it with veggies. I had strawberry coconut milk yogurt on the side and honeycrisp apple for dessert.
Breakfast- Back To Nature Peanut Butter Granola, small diced red apple, 2% cow milk.
So far my favorite brands of granola are Purely Elizabeth, Quaker, Nature Valley, Cascadian Farm
Lunch- Sammich with toasted Arnold wheat bread, mayo, hot sauce, swiss cheese, tomato, swiss chard, hard boiled egg, cucumber, yellow squash. I don't think I like raw yellow squash.
Dinner- Spaghetti, ragu pasta sauce, broccoli, green peppers, onions, swiss chard, cannellini beans, hot sauce, garlic, black pepper, salt, cilantro, italian seasoning
I haven't started cooking yet but we're going to have a ham,onion,pepper and potato fritatta for dinner,and I have a 3 bean salad marinating in the fridge.
