I'm back to having sandwiches for lunch. Toasted Arnold Oatnut bread, mayo, bok choy and green onion from the garden, tomato, one sliced hard boiled egg, hot habanero sauce.

Dinner was Gardein 7 Grain Crispy Tenders with Potato Salad with ketchup on it! It grossed everybody else out, but I loved it. Ketchup belongs on potatoes. Ghost pepper hot sauce on everything.

That sounds awesome!

I've been boring lately, I haven't felt like actually making anything. The past 2 nights I had beanie-weenies, and tonight I'm having burritos (just canned refried beans with shredded cheese and salsa in a tortilla, heated/crisped in the air fryer).

I have no clue, again. I need to decide. It's almost 1 am, and I'm going to take my bath, then eat, so I'll decide while I'm in the tub. I feel a bit honey-mustard-ish, though, so probably corn dogs or chicken nuggets.

Sunday I'm taking my turkey breast out to thaw in the fridge, and I'll bake it on Wednesday. TURKEY AND DURKEE SANDWICHES ARE COMING!

Lunch was a sandwich- Toasted Arnold Oatnut bread, mayo, ghost pepper sauce, swiss chard and green onions from garden, tomato, sliced hard boiled egg, walnuts, flax seeds.

Dinner was French Toast casserole with syrup on it, a poached egg with ghost pepper sauce on it, and some blue cheese crumbles that I got today in our Aldi order.

PLEASE tell me you got tater tots! It's the best thing about Sonic!

Tonight, hot dogs with cheese and onions! If everyone who knew this raises their hands and flaps, we can probably move the entire planet.
and the strawberry slush.

Tuna salad sandwich with bacon on a toasted English muffin with chips on the side. Munchos. YUM.

Thursday I met friends for a social distance dinner gathering. Everyone brought their own food and we were spaced widely apart, over 6 ft., in the yard. I had a small bowl of veggie chili with a bakery roll and since we were celebrating the birthday of one of the women there were store bought cupcakes separated and wrapped for dessert.

Last night I had Trader Joe's farfalle with 4-cheese & spinach. I added more spinach to it. Fresh strawberries for dessert. Not sure yet about tonight except that I'm making bbq chicken breasts for DH.

We had Papa John's pizza last night. Delivery. She had a mask on as did I. It worked and, as we were super-busy yesterday, I was grateful that we caved in and had delivery; first pizza in forever, it seems! Other than what I've made and our frozen stuff. Leftover pizza for lunch today.

Dinner tonight will be grilled chicken thighs (I'll probably do them in the Foodi Grill, so we don't have to deal with the gas grill). I made a bit of macaroni salad with the last of our small pasta shells. Remember a few weeks ago, I made cinnamon-swirl bread? Well, Dear Richard loves bread pudding....he adores the stuff. And he really loves my bread pudding because it has a very custardy bottom and he also loves custard. So I made bread pudding with slices of the cinnamon-swirl bread that I got out of the freezer this morning. Cut the slices into squares and took it from there. The kitchen smelled absolutely amazing from the pudding baking in the oven. I'm hoping it's as yummy as it looks and smells!

And now I'm down to half a box of ziti, half a box of rotini, and half a box of alphabet pasta. A container of spaghetti. And six lasagna noodles. That's it. I had 13 boxes of assorted pasta a few months ago!

I made "lazy lasagna" last night (all lasagna ingredients but basically a casserole instead of layered), and had some leftovers for lunch today too. It's good but bland, even though it has added garlic and onions. I have to see if I can tweak the recipe to make it more flavorful. Maybe it was the sauce I used (Barilla instead of my usual Prego).
