I pretty much knew with my others but Timmer was very difficult and I wish I had hung in there longer. I think a month too soon is ...too soon @ gareth, but if others find comfort on it, that's good.
I was very fortunate -- about three weeks later I got to have a long talk with our vet and he told me there was nothing else I could have done. That gave me peace but the grieving process is still something I am going through and struggling with.
