Hi all!

I posted a bit ago about my cat, Nagini, and her crazy URI that turned into her not eating and getting an etube put in. She got it out a couple days ago, and I'm jut wondering...what should the site look like while healing? The hole area looks crusty and dry, which I assume is good as it's scabbing, but it does look a bit swollen to me. Not sure if that's just normal in the healing process or what?

Nagini is eating, drinking, and using the litter box normally, so she doesn't seem to be in pain/bothered by it. Just a paranoid momma here!

Hi! It sounds like she's healing well, just keep an eye on it to make sure the swelling goes down.
It's wonderful to hear that she's back to normal - good for you!!

It sounds like the way Patches site looked after his was removed. As long as it is closed and there are no signs of infection which would be drainage, redness, and the area would be hot it should be fine.
