Hey, I just got this little beauty, I know this is a mix, but was wondering if she looks like a specific breed mix or just domestic cat? Thank you!
She looks just like a Siberian / Neva masquerade, which are Siberians that were bred with color point cats to get the points. Officially she would be a domestic long hair seal lynxpoint. She is gorgeous. They’re also a lot of other long hair cats that are similar like ragdolls etc. , but her facial features to me look Siberianesque.

If you look at photographs and paintings of the old style Persian cats, they look very similar to the Siberians. The face is not smooshed, and the nose is a typical nose with more prominence.

OMG! I looked for kittens of the Neva Masquerade and she does look a lot like them! Haha I am loving the mystery of finding the “similar genes” thank you for the info!!

Look how much she has changed, I do believe she is a long hair cat because of the fluff in her ears and paws, but her face has changed so much!

She’s beautiful 😻 look at those tufts on her ears too! Yeah, she looks a little bit more like a medium here in that photograph of the long hair cats can take up to two years to get their full coat length it could be she’ll turn out to be a medium hair.
