Hi all! I was hoping someone on her may be able to help me identify what kind of worm this is. I just received a 11 week old kitten the other day and this morning she went potty on the floor and I cleaned it up when I seen it, but I just found this worm wriggling (ewwww) in the same general area where she went potty.

I don't think it's a tapeworm segment. . .those are usually flat. It looks most like a fruit fly larva. Is there anything in the area that would attract fruit flies?

I have to agree as it has odd little segments as well, almost like a larvae of some sort. Tapeworms are often in the stool, very small like pieces of rice, and you can see them move if you watch for a minute.
