Im not sure its a common cat. Do you have any background story or more pics? The coloring is bysantine, but this is prob because its a tortie and tabby, with white added. This combination makes it often look unclear. The cat being longhair makes it more complicated...
So it MAY be a common cat, even if the looks are somewhat unusual. But I wouldnt be surprised much if it was some other specie than the usual domestic cat.
All I have to go on is the pic. Someone told me it looks like photoshop may have been used to make it look so unusual but who knows. Not sure why someone would do that.
I think he's just your standard big floofy cat. The way he's being held and the pattern on his face makes him look different but I think it's just a combination of everything. His fur is frumpled, too, which looks funny. But anyone with a longhair knows you can frumple their face fur to comedic effect .
