Looks like a domestic longhair colorpoint. Snowshoe breed basically is no more.

Thank you for your answer. She's such a little sweetheart. From what I'd read her fur was too long to be a Snowshoe.

Well, in looking a bit further I think she may look more like a Birma Sealpoint ( pictured above ) well, whatever she is, I love her to bits !

Also, Snowshoe are / were shorthairs, based on siamese old type.

But yeah, the pattern become renown after them.

I found one snowshoe breeder who has what looks like a balinese(longhair siamese cat) as well as shorthair. So you can have longhair snowshoes like cats. They were breeding with traditional siamese cats which is where ss developed. Ss came from siamese kittens who had the white on their paws faces etc. and they were then made into a breed of their own. I did find 2-3 who still seem to be active but they are practically extinct as people said.
She is gorgeous I would say she is a dlh seal point with long mitts, kind of a balinese like ss look alike maybe. But ss nearly always have the white on their face too. So a balinese look alike with long mitts.

Thank you for that. She was a rescue. My son found her with a broken leg and bleeding, freezing outside. Also very malnourished. He got her to a Vet instantly. He wanted to adopt her but his new landlord said " sorry, only one cat" He already has a beautiful Apple head Siamese. So he asked me if I would take her. I have two older cats and at the time she was only six months old but looked so much younger. She was barely three pounds. I just fell in love with her instantly. She is now 11 months almost 9 pounds and a happy go lucky girl. Plays with my other two. She's healed up beautifully, had her spayed a few months ago and she's just a love. She seems to have decided that she runs this place haha. Her name is Lil. She is quite the pretty kitty.

I also have a Siamese mix. She's my 14 year old ( also a rescue ) and a Russian Blue who is 13. My Lil is like a patrol cat. I just love Siamese cats. I love them all really but the blue eyes are so amazing. They are such loyal pets. She's feisty but so affectionate.

Wow that is huge! He is gorgeous💕 My Quinn is relatively small at 12lbs or so, when he was a kitten he was tiny so he ended up quite large. He is very strong willled, if you tell him don’t do something he does just that😹 just to show you who is really boss 😹 He is amazing and he was so high energy as a baby It was overwhelming. He is my only pb cat ever, we had some siamese mixes before.

I thought he would be trainable as a diabetic alert cat for me but he is so feisty and self willed he is not, but he is super intelligent. He watches my every move and he is my guardian. My Beloved Wizard, all black siamese os mix was the one who was the alert cat in that he was always right with me when I had low bg, he knew before I did. My Merlin, a dsh big ginger guy is turning out to be more aware of it too at times.

Siamese cats, are so special, when I brought Quinn home it was like he had stepped out of a work of art, I could not stop staring at him in awe, the whole history was visible there in his personage and personality. He has mannerisms and expressions that are so siamese, different than other cats. Here he is at about six months to a year. His eyes are especially blue in some here. I can hardly believe he is 5 now.

I think I need a ragdoll type cat though, my boys are not super huggable and I need that, although they are very affectionate and loving. I need a forest cat like my Sybil too 😹
