What color and pattern?

Just adopted this adorable little mutt and curious how to properly describe his coat. He’s a bicolor tabby, I think, but not sure what color or tabby pattern. Blue spotted?

I can't answer the main question, but this cat is probably a female and she's a tricolor (notice the area next to her left ear).

I agree that he looks like he is blue tabby and white. Do you have any pictures from the side where his pattern is more apparent?

Mackerel tabby cats very often have some of their stripes broken up into spots. One way to describe this pattern is "broken mackerel." Some people say "spackerel"

This light area is a normal part of the blue tabby pattern.

Oh, broken mackerel looks right! I’ve included a better photo of his side.

And definitely not female. There’s very clear evidence, despite having been neutered.
