Sweet kitten! But if you dont know, its with 99% sure its a pointed domestic.

If its longhair or just much kitten fuzzy, we will se better in the future. Some kitten are alike changelings, so we can guess, but cant know.

ps it may prob be described as a lynx seal point, ie black tabby point. I presume she is seal, as she is already that dark... Otherwise she is blue.

What is her background? She is a cutie 😀 Without pedigree and paperwork she is called a dlh either seal lynx point or blue lynx point. I am guessing blue but her nose is pretty dark in the younger pics which suggests seal.

Breeds she could look like would be ragdoll, balinese(longhair siamese) etc.

Here are baby and kitten pics of my Quinn who is a pb siamese sealpoint. He is a lot darker now, especially in the past year or so, over time the points & body hair get darker, especially in cooler climates. First pic is about 3 weeks. Last one is now, he is 8 now, it’s hard to believe how time has flown by. Middle pic is about 16 wks maybe.

Long hair pointed cats can look lighter due to the long fur.

She’s a foster from the animal shelter. We’re thinking about keeping her but wanted to kinda know the adult demeanor. The shelter calls her a Siamese but I’ve seen them misrepresent breeds before.

She would have siamese ancestry because all pointed cats got the color points from Siamese somewhere down the line. A lot of Siamese cats can have domineering and funny personalities, they are super smart, they are sort of like the border collies of cats, very active, they need things to do, and they attach strongly to one person. Many cp cats have similar personalities to pb. Ragdolls are known to be laid back and affectionate so not as intense as a Siamese. This can all vary a lot with each individual cat of course so there is no way to know what her personality will be like for sure.

Also since you are fostering her you have an idea of what she is like probably? Kittens can change of course but most of mine have kept the basic personality they had as kittens and maybe some mellowed a bit after the kitten zoomies etc. But they all evolve according to the basic personality and their environment etc.
