This is Maddie. My family adopted her years ago, and she is now 14 years old! The person we got her from said her mother was a siamese, and her father was a mix.
I feel that you can see in her facial structure the siamese is visible, but I was just wondering about her gorgeous blue/grey coat and yellow eyes. What other breed could be in her?
Btw she is a very nervous cat (possibly because of an accident with a snake when she was younger) but is VERY yappy. Always a lot of things to say. Especially complaints if the bed is not made for her.

Domestic cats are generally a big mish-mash of genes. Unless the mom was a documented Siamese, it could have just been a color point domestic shorthair. Your baby is very beautiful and has a regal face! I'm sure our experts will weigh in on if they see any particular/notable characteristics!

She is a beauty😻 most likely she is a domestic shorthair cat. Even if the mom was a color point and not a pure bred Siamese, she would still have Siamese ancestry down the line- her face looks oriental and kind of Siamese with the large ears and the triangle shape.

The gray color or blue as it’s called is a dilute of black. It would depend on the genes that her mother carried and showed, and the genes for color that her father carried and showed. For instance, if her mother was Siamese or a colorpoint and the father had a recessive color point gene some of the kittens would be color points. Do you remember if any of the other kittens looked like Siamese cp?

I’m not sure if it’s the photograph, but in some it looks like she could be a dilute tortoiseshell. But it’s more likely she’s a solid blue with a white necklace or you could call her a tuxedo maybe even- she also shows some stripes on her face, which could be tabby ghost stripes.

Also, I could be wrong about this, but I just read up on it to refresh my memory – I think both parents would have to carry the solid gene for her to be solid blue if she is. So the mother would’ve had to be a mix probably, and the father would probably be solid blue or carry the solid as well. Purebred Siamese cats would not typically carry the solid gene.

If she is solid blue the white is white spotting maybe, I can’t tell how much white she has, but I think even a little white they’re still classified in the bicolor patterns although officially a true bicolor cat is supposed to have about 50-50 percent of the color and white.
