What Breed Is My Cat?

So I have recently adopted a 20 year old male cat and would like to know his breed as he's old and I want to catch any possible problems early.
He is an extremely affectionate cat who is happy to have affection whenever you want it. He also is never aggressive and will just tap me to stop something he doesn't like. He also likes his alone time but will seek me out when he wants attention. He's not very vocal. One meow for hello and a few for food.

Good for you for adopting this sweet and handsome old guy! He appears to be a black and white domestic shorthair. Most cats are simply domestic cats and do not have specific breed ancestry.

I was 90% sure that was the case. I'm not bothered about breeding. He's the cutest, sweetest cat ever and I'm so blessed to have him. I love him so much. Thanks for replying.
