I have been debating on whether or not my cat is a tortoiseshell, or a tabby. Her name is Pepper, and she's a female.

Tortie with white, or calico? I think she is calico. Because the colors black and red (or blue and creme) are in clearly definied fields, they arent mingled together.

Is she tabby too? All reds are tabbies, so it wouldnt be no sport to count her as tabby.
With torties/calicos, we say they they are tabbies, if there are visible tabby markings on the dark parts of the body

I dont see them. So for me she is a calico.

If YOU being there see them, she is tabby and calico, called for patched tabby or caliby.
Or if you see her as tortie with white - torbie with white.

Last but not least. The pics have their colorgame settings /filtered. If she is black or blue is different in different pics.

If you being there decide she is blue (=grey) and creme, add the word dilute.

Because blue is diluted black, and creme is diluted red.
