This is my neighbor's cat Ling. She is full grown, but tiny. I am short, so don't be fooled by her looking longer than my thighs. Her tail is very fluffy & her legs are shortish too. I was joking that maybe she is part skunk. Anyone have ideas?
I'll try to measure her legs tonight. Now that I know where her favorite treats are kept, she's much friendlier towards me & my boyfriend. She's a delicate thing and I guess because of her size, seems so feminine. I think my boyfriend is in love with her a little. He only had male cats growing up & he's fascinated with her.
Longhairs frequently look short-legged because the fur covers up most of their legs . She is a real cutie, and has that "precious princess" kind of face.
That makes sense. It's also that my cat is extra long bodied and extra long legged, so in comparison, she's such a peanut. He's easily twice her size, maybe more.
Here are some more photos. The weird ones are so you can see how fluffy her tail is and how short her legs are. It was tough to get an actual measurement, but I'd estimate she's about 12 inches long from the base of her neck to the base of her tail & her front legs are about 2.75" long.
