im not sure who the father is but I did spot a gray spotted one (probably an egyptian mau) and a long haired one that looks like a miniture mainecoon. (But he was quite literally the size of my female cat and my kittens were born smaller than the average and still are for their age so i doubt i… also Added a picture of mama cat A0A42C97-0E99-4570-8B52-8BA4692E53E9.jpeg 5BC18036-0AA3-407D-A03C-A026AC2E436F.jpeg EA79FA32-92FF-417C-956C-86B17BE4A36F.jpeg 7F1392F4-3918-480C-8C3D-A92F905CAAB2.jpeg

Hi,
I cannot see the kittens very well but the pattern looks a bit spotted - broken mackerel tabby. Mother cat looks like a ticked tabby. They would likely be called domestic cats and if shorthair domestic shorthair.

Yes, a grey broken Mackeral Tabby DSH or domestic short hair. I have had many kittens that start out with 'spots' that fuse together as they get older and form the typical tabby stripes. You probably won't know what color until they are a year old. The 'breed' is a moot point, without papers all cats are domestic short or long-haired. Most cats are a mix of countless breeds. The kittens are absolutely adorable by the way, be sure to keep mama inside until you can spay her, she can have 3 litters a year and get pregnant within weeks of giving birth. One little female I had (and couldn't catch) had 17 kittens in one summer!

Ticked tabby is dominant over the other tabby forms, I think.

So we really cant know what tabby markings father had... Its quite possible kittens tabby patterns come from ma... If she, aside of the ticked tabby is say, a broken mackerel too; she will be ticked tabby, but some of her kittens will be mackerel.

Is any of the kittens a ticked tabby?? Ie no visible tabby pattern on sides and back?

They’re all brown (black) tabbies, need better photos of the spine lines and sides of the kittens to tell pattern.
Like the vast majority of cats (over 95%) they are domestics, cats are generally not a ‘mix of countless breeds’ they’re just moggies.
