We decided to go with stacking baby gates for cat intros, does anyone have recommendations on which ones will stack nicely? It is a bedroom door so we would like to be able to get in and out.

6 foot 6 inches tall and 2.5 feet wide. Pic of the door is also included

I don't know about the baby gates but there is a DIY gate that is easy to build and isn't costly, which would allow you to open/close it easily. See a pic example below. It is made from shelving you can buy at most any home improvement store, most of which can be as tall/long as the height of the door. Pieces of the shelving can be affixed together with zip ties to make a 'hinge' which allows for easy opening/closing. If needed, the shelving units can be temporarily attached to the walls with Command strips and a bungee cord (or other straps of your choosing) stretched over the shelving for added support to help keep the cats from pushing them over. The cord is hooked over the Command strips on each side of the door, and you just detach the cord from one side when you want access and re-attach when you want it closed. If you don't mind the eventual repair work, you can use something 'more permanent' than Command strips.
