Last I saw, Puddles was asleep under Vortex (Pionus Parrot)'s cage. Please ignore the unswept floor, LOL!
I should get my friend to post her cat story about Freya and a mouse on the bed one day .SWAMBO called from the bedroom "You'd better come and take care of your cat!" Whenever Belle "Does Something", she's my cat. (I suppose that's fair- whenever Minerva Does Something, she's SWAMBO's dog.) I discover Belle has caught a small mouse and is immensely pleased with herself. I pet her and tell her what a good girl she is and she purrs loudly. She rubs her cheeks against the mouse and play with it like it's her favorite toy. I don't want to take the mouse away from her and discourage her hunting but I don't want the mouse to get away and go hide somewhere in the house. To that end, I ensure the mouse is dead. It isn't until I place the mouse in her dish that she gets the idea that mousy is more than a plaything. As she sniffs it, I can tell she's realizing it's food and takes the tail in her teeth. I turn the leave, took two steps towards the door and when I look back, the mouse is gone and Belle is contentedly cleaning her whiskers like she always does after a good meal.
Good kitty
Ozzy does, too!Lola came down to search for and eat any cobwebs she can find. She finds them quite tasty.
Things took a turn once Boone saw the empty bowl. He calmly walked over to Gracie and started licking her. Once she really started enjoying it, he quickly wrapped both of his arms around her neck and flopped his body over so he had her in a chokehold. The panic on Gracie's face was instantaneous and I had to intervene before he choked her out. Guess Boone is officially done with taking Gracie's crap and Gracie has learned not to finish off all the dry food.Gracie did Boone dirty and ate all the dry food. No more until dinnertime.
