Zorro is taking stock of the new temporary kitchen created after I took out all the bricks today, and inserted a plywood counter. He is now able w/ ease to leap to the top of the fridge, previously inaccessible. I think he is getting his inner Leopard on, he hasn’t left the spot for an hour.

Carleton is napping on my slippers by the patio door. He usually does this in summer but started doing it when we had a few nice spring days. He keeps waiting for me to open the patio door too so he can look through the screen and smell the fresh air. I feel bad telling him we got some light snow overnight.

Being early morning here, they’re curled up, Phoebe on one of her cushions under the bed and Daisy on the bed next to me.


Update an hour later: post-breakfast and post-poos, Phoebe is on a different cushion and Daisy is making biscuits and purring loudly in my ear.
