Since we've been sheltering, we've been watching tv. I found Highlander on Prime and have been watching cheesy TV out in the shed. Rick has been watching episodes of The Handmaid's Tale on Hulu.

What are you watching? Interesting, cheesy, good, bad?

I have been watching video game streams on Twitch and Youtube! My favorite twitch channel is SecretSleepoverSociety. Jacob and Julia are from the comedy drawing show Drawfee (Youtube) and they stream a lot of detective-style indie games. THey also have 2 cats who like to interrupt the stream. I really like their humor and I've been following Drawfee for years (they were all laid off in January, so are mostly doing streams now until they can get control of the channel) so it's really fun to watch them play whateve game. Sometimes they do drawing streams too.

On youtube I watch the channels Eurogamer, Outside Xbox, and Outside Extra. They do streams of all the latest games.

Also on Youtube, I watch a lot of the old Mystery Science Theater 3000 episodes. They are almost 30 years old, but I never get tired of them. I still laugh out loud even if I know all the jokes (especially from the Pumaman and Space Mutiny episodes)

Fun fact: I don't have any subscription services! I don't have a TV either! I do sometimes watch subtitled Korean dramas on a pirate website. I don't condone piracy, but I can't legally get the shows in English due to licensing restrictions. So the show can be on TV in Korean, then the next day be legally available with English subtitles everywhere else in the world except Korea! 🤷‍♀️

I've been streaming Pit Bulls & Parolees on Xfinity on demand.
We went back to the beginning and have been watching Pit Bulls & Parolees too - good choice!

We have also been binging on Law & Order and Law & Order Criminal Intent.

I haven't binged on anything yet. However, one show I continue to watch every weekday is Days of Our Lives.

For those who may not be familiar with it, it's a daytime soap opera on NBC. Even if you've never watched it, you may have heard of "Bo and Hope" or "John and Marlena" or "Jack and Jennifer" or "Steve and Kayla", who were super couples of the 80's. Of those 8 characters, all of them except Bo are currently on the show, and still being portrayed by the original actors. So we get to occasionally have flashbacks from 30 years ago!

Because the show has a ridiculous filming schedule, i.e. 7 months in advance, they have enough new 1 hour episodes to air 5 days a week till October. So if you're looking for a new show, or want a blast from the past, maybe check it out.

I had been dabbling in a bit of everything, e.g., musicals, dramas, comedies, history documentaries, nature documentaries, etc.

But now that we've cancelled Netflix, I've mostly been watching Chinese dramas on Prime. I got hooked on them a few years ago after binge watching The Legend of Zhen Huan (the 76 episode version).

I just finished binge watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer....all 7 seasons. I started 2 weeks ago, but the last 3 seasons I managed to get thru in about 4 days. Yup, for 4 days, I was lazy and pretty much only got up to cook, eat and use the bathroom...I also stayed clean. I needed it though, and now I have the energy to get back to cleaning.
I now have a permanent dent in my couch lol!

I recently watched Unorthodox on Netflix and I would thoroughly recommend it. If anyone else is interested in the subject matter, the actress playing the protagonist is also in the film Shtisel, also on Netflix.

I watch a lot of Korean dramas and some that I've particularly enjoyed during lockdown are Extraordinary You, The Liar and His Lover and Hi, Bye Mama - these can also be found on Netflix.

Buffy was my favourite show back in the day. I haven't watched it in forever, though I do have the DVD set. Maybe I should dust it off.

How did you enjoy it? Does it seem dated? Which was your favourite season?

Sorry for the delay, I've been staying off the internet for a while.
I don't really know what my favorite season was.
Any season where Xander is more goofy than gloomy. And also when Spike is around. I love their one liners.
This is one of my favorite episodes with Spike. This video is pieced together from Season 4 episode 8 - "Pangs"

I really need to watch the series again, as I barely remember that episode.

Are you planning to watch Angel (the show) next?

Already did. That's what I was doing this past week while staying off line. It was good, but was a little darker than Buffy. Too bad it was cancelled so abruptly, it just ends right after a major cliff hanger. Supposedly, if you want closure, there is a continuation of the series in comic form.
Now I have to figure out what to watch next....My sister is watching Supernatural. Any thoughts?

Though I loved Angel on Buffy, I never quite got hooked on his own show. In fact I didn't even watch the whole series. I think I stopped watching around the time
Cordy got pregnant / Lorne and Fred became regulars. I really liked the first season with the lawyers. Also liked the police woman. Hated when they killed off Doyle, though I guess that had to do with the actor's personal problems. :(

Haven't watched that one.
