And I'm talking about theme songs created for the show, not real songs used for a show, or songs that made it to main stream radio/albums and whatnot.

I actually like listening to the theme song of The Amazing Race.

And just recently I remembered a cartoon I used to watch and to this day I love the theme song. It's a cartoon called The Gummi Bears.

They don't make cartoons like they used to...:(

I'm sure there are more, but I'll leave it to you now.

Orbiting the Earth. . .
Would a commercial count? When I watch a show, the background music doesn't always stand out to me but last year Christmas, this commercial aired and when I went to look for the song, it didn't exist. It was written just for the commerical. I replay the video over and over just to get my fill.
I love it because it reminds me of someone that I miss...

Mine are - a mixture of modern and throwbacks:

- Sabrina The Teenage Witch
- Gentleman Jack
- Horrible Histories (a childhood favourite)
- Friends
- The Simpsons (another childhood favourite)
- One Day At A Time
- Hannah Montana (another throwback!)

Reminds me of one of my favorite cartoon themes growing up-

I'm almost positive that this is what kicked off my obsession with 80s music.

Definitely Doctor Who is in the top 2 slots.
Tied is the Lucifer theme song. This counts since Heavy Young Heathens wrote it for Lucifer (from what I could find)

I always like the Cheers and Friends songs, but I believe they're both regular songs they used, not made specifically for the shows. And the long versions are a little different from the parts used for the intros! Especially the Cheers song, lol. (OK, I looked them.up, and they were both written for the shows originally, and then the writers wrote longer versions afterward.)

For newer songs, I like the Big Bang Theory song and The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt intro (They alive, dammit! It's a miracle!)
