What Are Some Hints That Differenate Ibd And Ibs Without Tests?

I've been reading about them more lately, I know there are quite a few users here with IBD cats experience (I'm sorry!)

IBD and IBS seem to give very similar if not the same symptoms but from what I understand the right diet etc for management aren't exactly the same. I know there are some tests to diagnose IBD but I was wondering if there are different symptoms too that could give more hint. (Or for IBD-related issues like GERD or gastritis.)

If I google, I don’t come up with much about IBS. Most of what I do come up with is from food companies. They suggest that IBS is more stress-related:

The most detailed take I found about IBS is this Irritable Bowel Syndrome in Cats - Symptoms, Causes, Diagnosis, Treatment, Recovery, Management, Cost. WagWalking is really great for conditions but not known well. I found Hima’s rare symptom for something only on there too.
