My girlfriend have been on and off about what our cats pet heritage might be. She says Russian Blue and a few people she knows says so as well. I say Nebelung or Chartreux because of his eyes. We adopted him from my girlfriends aunt at 7 weeks old because he was in pretty much one of the only two that was completely weened and was eating dry kibble instead.

Here’s a couple of pictures:

They’re all in order with the most recent photo being last. He’s also starting to get more fur tufts coming out of his ears. Also I don’t know if it’s clear in the photos but it’s almost like he has a thin second coat on top of the one he already has.

Unless the parents were a certain breed he's a grey domestic short hair. His eyes will still change color for a while before they settle into their adult color.

the mother was a calico tabby, they don’t know who or what the father was unfortunately because she was an indoor outdoor cat.

Most cats don't have any purebred background at all. We do know that the father carried dilute and solid color, because those are recessive genes, other than that there's not a lot we can know about him! Do you know what color/pattern the kitten's siblings are?

He's a fine handsome boy! Solid blue kitties always grow up to look so dignified.

the three feeding were all females; a white one, a long haired one, and a black one. Then there were the two males; the orange tabby and the gray one we got.

Awww!

Well, daddy was dark colored, probably solid black although he could have been a tabby. He also carried the pointed (the "white" one) and longhaired genes, obviously, but most likely wasn't pointed or longhaired himself.

I agree grey domestic short hair. Grey domestic shorthairs are my favorite cats!! He's adorable and will certainly look like a little prince when he grows up.
