I've been sick a week now, a respiratory allergy turned into bronchitis with a horrendous cough. Around two or three this morning, I was awakened by a coughing fit. Ralph was sharing my pillow at the time and even though his nose was only a few inches from my face, he did nothing more than crack his eyelids just a bit for just a second.
That is, until I was done coughing. As the fit passed, I let out a big ole sigh of relief. As if that were his cue, Ralph immediately inched his way forward until his shoulder was against my cheek and then stretched out his front paws, rested them across my neck and back and settled his chin on the back of my shoulder.
How incredibly sweet is that? Kinda made my eyes water.
We slept like that until morning. *sniff*
Ralph is one special kitty cat.
