Hello!
I am not familiar with what ear mites look like. When I checked online, I only found severe cases.
She's an indoor cat, and although we have another cat, she does not have anything on her ears (however, they're separated at the moment).
Please help!
I will definitely contact the vet if it is suspected to be ear mites! I just wouldn't want to go to the vet for me to tell me it's just ear wax haha.

Thank yall!

Ear mites can't be seen by our naked eyes. It has to be under a microscope to see them. Ear mites can stimulate wax production and the black stuffs you see could be wax, blood, debris and mites themselves combined.

You can buy OTC drops for ear mites and will clean the ears. It's easy to use providing your cat is obliging.

Yes, please take her in to the vet for a check, at least they have he equipments to do the test to see if there are mites in the ear and if there are, it'll be treated and ease the itch and scratching from your kitty.

It could be a yeast infection. We used "ZYMOX Enzymatic Ear Solution Hydrocortisone Free for Dogs and Cats" on our cats. You can google it otherwise Amazon carries it.
