Hello! I’m hoping that I’m just overreacting, but I figured I’d post this anyway.
A few minutes ago, I noticed that Eden’s eye is watery. I’ve been gone all day so I haven’t really seen her to know when it started. My parents don’t want to take her to the vet. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

P.S. sorry for the blurry photos, she doesn’t want to sit still.

Usually, "watery" eyes mean they might have something in the eye (hair, dust, etc) or that there is a minor scratch from having the itchies or roughhousing.
It's when an eye starts having discharge that you should be concerned. I would give it another day or so and see if the problem resolves itself. If you do notice any different colored discharge, then go ahead and contact your vet.

How is your cat doing? My cat is going to the exact same problem right now.

Good. It’s gone. I guess it must have been something in her eye. :)

What is happening here my cat is suddenly having terribly watery eyes. Could it be some sort of cat flu or covid?

Hmm, I’m not the best person to answer this. Hopefully someone else will come along soon who can help you :)
