One of my new little guys has losse BM's and has gotten it all over him since he is kept in a crate when I am sleeping I know I have read on here to not give your kitten a bath or something like that so i thought I would ask if it was ok to just give him a water bath? no shampoo or anything just a rinse and a little rubbing. He goes to the vet tomorrow for his first check up so as for the cause of his runs that will be checked out then. I just want to make sure he is nice and clean.

There's no place like home
For young kittens I use a warm damp wash cloth to wipe their rumps following by a warm towel to dry them. If you have any drafts or chills in your house, a full wash probably isn't a good thing this time of year in Denver.

Well thanks for the tips! I will prolly do the wash cloth. Even tho my house is very hot! and no drafts that I can notice. but just to make sure the little guy stays a little more comfy I will stick with the wash cloth.
