Just a note about the Photo Contest

All so cute! I say this in almost every photo comp, but please vote for your own cat(s)! I hate to bring out the dancing banana, but now I have your attention! Lulu&Finn , I have been studying Lulu fixing the lamp, and am trying to make up my mind if I want Elsie as an electrician. I just had to stop her from chewing through the cord on my mouse. Good idea? Bad idea? Needs to go to college for that?

So many cats seem to be helping their furfamilies, by guarding from dangerous predators such as (lobsters! ) or making sure the water is the appropriate temperature for drinking, the computer work is complete, the tissue box is up to factory standards, and the barber has done a great job. We really need to pay our cats more, if you think about it. Mine are anchoring the quilt at this very moment, so there is no way it will fall off the bed.

Oh, wow! Thank you so much! The competition was fierce; so many curious (and gorgeous) kitties. Lily is honored to be voted “curious.”

She loved that pot; she’d jump up and peer in there several times a day. Unfortunately, I’ve had to move it outside. She’s so arthritic now that I worried about her falling in and hurting herself.

Congratulations Tobermory & Lily! What if you were to fill up the vase at least half way on the inside (Styrofoam, maybe), and add steps on the outside? Feeby adapted very well to using steps. It might be a way for Lily to still enjoy her vase. And, if you fill it up enough inside, you can get some great pics of her looking out the top!!!

I tried filling it with various things, FeebysOwner , but it all kept shifting. Then I made a cap for it...and Lily ripped it off and fell in. (She wasn’t hurt.) I came home one day, and my husband had taken it outside, filled it with water, and put water plants in it. I have some more squatty pots she uses that don’t strain her arthritic little legs and hips, and I’ve put steps up to other places like the bed which she uses. She did love that pot, though.
