I don't think there's anything wrong with voting for your own entry. Politicians do it, and I'd vote for myself if I were a politician entering a race.

If you are trying to convince others that you are the right person for the job, or that your submission to a contest is worth their vote, then having the confidence to vote for yourself is healthy. I think so, anyway.

I kind of wish that in the picture-contest threads, people could continue posting after the deadline, but obviously not included as entries. Just to add more for fun.

But I understand why mods lock them at the deadline... it's probably easier to manage contest entries, prevent inquiries from disappointed users (like... "But I was only late by one day, can't it be counted???"), etc.

You can always just start your own new thread, just because, with pictures that match the theme in the Fur Pics & Vids Only forum. Nobody would ever object to that.

Thank you for sending a reminder. I am subscribing to this thread for update notifications, and I am hoping there will be another reminder sent out before the deadline.

I want to send in a couple of nominations but don't have much time to do so until after Xmas.

We used to keep them unlocked cmshap , but you would be amazed at how many people don't realise it's closed and try to enter.
People have set up 'out-takes' and other threads, based on POM, though.. it's a good idea.

I love the photo threads with a theme - they are delightful to look at and get to know everyone's fur babies

These contests are adorable too and so hard to vote for but a few- they are ALL winners in my eyes

This is so hard, do I go for the "happy" smile or the "maybe I want to EAT you" smile Juno was going for vampire there, need to send that one back to Halloween.

Also I am so jealous of Juno's beautiful wall octagons.
