Hi Dusty, I am glad you are here. I have a couple of questions for you. When should the kittens see a vet for the first time? Is there any special way to transport them, since weather could be a problem such as wind, rain, snow, temperature?

I'd take 'em as soon as I get them. If they're three weeks old, then they probably need to be wormed. The vet can examine them (him) and let you know if he needs any special care. He can also give him something for fleas and subcutaneous fluids if he's dehydrated.

Weaning time is another high risk period. It might be another good time to let the vet take a peek then, as well.
