I contacted a Bach Flowers Practitioner for a mix of bach flowers for my cat and she recommended to mix 2 drops of 4 different bach flower essence to 1 teaspoon of glycerin in a 30ml amber bottle and fill the rest with water - concerned about the glycerin, is it safe?

Does this practitioner have any specialization in cats? Glycerin is GRAS according to the FDA (generally regarded as safe) and is used in pet food treats especially to inhibit mold BUT there is controversy about its use and some pet food manufacturers won't use it. Hopefully others will respond who have had experiences with it.

I used the list of official Bach Practitioners in the UK so she is qualified and a professional but I do not think she specialises in cats though, however she has treated cats. I purchased vegetable glycerin but yeah I'm just a bit scared of poisoning my cat!

Here is another thread where someone asked the same question: Vegetable Glycerin

Be sure to read to the end, as it appears it IS safe in small quantities. Your above recipe uses 1 teaspoon to make a fair amount of whatever it is your making. By that, I mean you probably aren't dosing much at a time, correct?

It's two drops of that mix 4 times a day!

I think you're safe using that mix, don't you?
