I am having trouble finding a food that my Turkish Van will eat. Any suggestions?

I’ve heard Fancy Feast classics are generally well received by most cats.

If you feed dry, I’ve had good results with Dr Elsey’s CleanProtein kibble.

If your cat is refusing all food, you may want to have him/her checked out by a vet to rule out illness. Refusing food is sometimes not just pickiness.

What brands have you tried so far? Are you looking for dry food suggestions or canned? Is there a limit to budget or brands you can find in your local stores / online?

I have tried both dry and canned. Fancy Feast, Purina, Science Diet for the wet catagory. Rachel Ray, Purina, Science Diet for dry catagory.

Some canned brands to try are Weruva, Soulistic, Tiki Cat, Rawz, Friskies, Nature's Variety, Merrick. There are many more. Peruse the aisle at your local independent pet store or online for brands you might not have seen before.

Dr. Elsey's Clean Protein dry food seems to be popular.
