Trays for cat food/cat water

We have 4 cats. One of them is always messy at the food and water bowls. He loves to play in them. We found some rubber boot trays with 2 inch sides that have successfully contained all of the spills. They are sold by Ballard Designs. Here is a link-

They are easy to clean, and rinse right off. I hope this helps!

A shallow plastic container or other item works just as well Whatever you may have lying around or can find at a yard sale / thrift store. FreeCycle group / etc for cheap or free. My cats' water bowl is on a food service tray, the kind you get at fast food places to carry your food to a table.

I have the same system, for both food and water. Somehow they always manage to scatter the dry food all over. It's a lot easier to just pick up the trays and dump them than to sweep the floor two or three times a day.
