Tractor Supply Cat litter

I use it, especially for fosters.  I usually use A/H unscented and the Paws and Claws is almost as good.  The only thing I noticed is sometimes the P&C will not grab the pee right away and it will end up on the bottom of the litter box.  Not always, though, so it isn't too bad a problem.  I usually end up mixing the, which saves me enough  money that I have no complaints.

A TSC store opened near me a few months ago.  I discovered the Paws and Claws litter the first time I went there.  It's been great with 7 cats for at least 3 months.  Low dust, unscented, and excellent odor control.  I rarely smell anything even when they first poop.

How fine are the granules? I'm looking for low-dust, cheap, soft litter.

I just started using this yesterday. It really doesnt look any different then the tidy cat we use. Except its more of a brown color. Not gray. It  does seem soft.

OK, bought some today to try and so far 2 cats have used it within 5 minutes of changing the boxes.  It's much heavier than the Cat's Pride scoopable that I was using, but very low dust and I like that!

It's definitely worth checking out IMO.
We just bought some a few weeks ago and have found it to be very cost effective, much less dusty than other clay ones, and it has good odour control too. I'm bothered by dust and most clay litters make me sneeze, but so far not this one.

I don't know what you're using now, but this Paws and Claws scoopable is WAY less dusty and VERY little litter tracking compared to what I was using before (Cat's Pride).  I have asthma and have to drive all the way to the opposite end of the county for this but it is working much better for me than the Cat's Pride was.

I think I may have to try it if it's really almost dust free... I was so sick of the dust in fresh step; I switched to chicken layer crumble. It works really well but TSC only sells 50lb bags of the kind I buy. I have a bad back, so this is an issue. It is a little cheaper than the chicken crumble as well. Although the crumble is almost totally dust free.

How does the paws and claws clump? Are the clumps tight enough to prevent contamination of the other litter?

I had chickens in the past, so I'd say the Paws and Claws scoopable (unscented) is as low dust as chicken crumbles if not more so.  Then again, I dumped 50 lb bags of crumbles into garbage cans meant for storing chicken food so that may not be a fair comparison.

The clumping is very good for me.  Sometimes it is a little sticky and wants to stick to the scoop, but that's a minor thing for me.  Keep in mind that I feed raw with additional water so I have peeing machines over here, so I have bigger clumps than what most people manage.  But the clumps hold together well IMHO.  I also have diggers, so the clumps are often stuck to the bottom of the pan.  But they scoop off just fine, no "cementing" problems.

I'd love to hear what you think of it!  I thought about the chicken crumbles but I fear Gadget's pica and the GA coast's moisture.

One of my kitties has pica. Initially, it was an issue as she thought I filled her litterbox with a giant bag of kitty treats. Beans thought daddy had gone crazy in a good way.

A little baking soda mixed in with the crumble stopped the toilet snacker in her tracks.

Yeah, I heard about the baking soda and frankly with Gadget's history I'm not sure that would be enough.  But aside from that, it is very humid where I live.  Mold/mildew is a fact of life here.  I don't want to see what the corn would grow, LOL!

Wow I am really wanting to get this litter too I use fresh step litter and it's very good with Oder control however the dust is the worst, I keep the litter box on the closet and when I dump the litter in the box the whole closet is engulfed in dust which is bad for my kitties because they always like to hang around when I change the litter so they can have "first dibs" and they are visibly bothered by the dust too

Fresh Step and q couple of good store brands made by Fresh Step, all changed a few yrs ago. FS used to be the best. I haven't used it in over a year and I'm still finding litter dust.

Is this tractor store called TSC as I though I read someone said TSC? We have one in town and I would check into that litter we pay a lot for litter but it works great! But if this was just a good I would be happy to save!
