Hello,
I am using Beaphar Beef Flavoured Toothpaste for our cats. I chosed it because its enyzmatic and also they love the beef flavour. However I noticed that it contains hydrated silica, as well as most other brands. I know hydrated silica helps to remove the plaque but I worry if ingesting silica regulary may be harmful in the long term
I am now irresoulate between using a homemade toothpaste made of baking soda, salt and water, or continuing with Beaphar Beef Flavoured Toothpaste.
What do you think? Do any of you have an idea about hydrated silica?
