Tip to catch trap-shy feral

Hello, I randomly saw a post from here online, looking for ideas on how to catch a very trap shy feral.,and veteran member Hissy suggested to the person to message her, because she knew of a vet recommended tip. She said she used it to catch Gangster a very difficult feral and that it wasn't pleasant but worked. I think this was way back in 2002! If Hissy sees this, please can you let me know this tip, I'm desperately trying to catch the most trap wary cat I've ever known. Thanks so much for the help, Chrissy

hissy hasn`t been back to the forums for about a year now, so she probably won`t see this. If you want someone to see a post you can use the @ before their name and they should get an alert.

Maybe we can give you some help catching this feral? What have you tried so far?

My best bet would be with food it may take some time the stray I caught took about a week of see him outside let him see me put the food down back up some and it slowly gained his trust to where he eventually let me pick him up and get him to a shelter

I've read many times that ferals can't resist KFC, so if you haven't tried that yet, perhaps it will work.
