Awwww. Of course he's skittish when he doesn't feel good. Poor baby.
Plus his vision might be off and it's scarey.....I just want to hug him and hold him but I understand he needs his space right now-he must've been feeling pretty alright earlier when he wanted to lay with his head on my lap- whatever he wants ,I'm here when he wants to be close

You do help- thank God my Dr understands how much my furbabies mean to me- she knows I can't stand Rx meds but wrote me a prescription anyway and suggested breaking a little piece ( as needed) and before we talk about anything else we'll get back to the cardiolist - first she gave me info about Broward County Heart Heart health project for free tests that insurance doesn't cover(CCTA test)that you apply for yourself( Dr's can't order it( then youd be charged-patients that are eligible can get it done and get results themselves) so I'm going to put in my request since I meet the requirements

Its a catch 22- I get stressed & my chest hurts and when my chest hurts it gets me stressed,lol- gee

I gave Timmy more Llysine at lunch and yesterday I managed to clean his eye when he finally came up for snuggles- this morning after breakfast he played down with me and we cuddled,he was rubbing his face on my hand over his eye and no discharge this morning

Iris is brown and his pupils are uneven though he's out and about
So glad you talked to your dr about all this and they understand how much your babies mean to you. I can't stand when someone says its just a cat. Your Dr sounds very proactive with everything you mentioned above. I like that.
Wonderful that you were to clean Timmy's eye and give him Lysine, hopefully it will make him feel at least a little better. Cuddles. Who doesn't love those? Good for you both.No drainage is good hopefully that continues. Love that he was out of hiding maybe his feeling a little better.❤❤❤ Sending you lots of love and hugs

Sending you so much love.

Are you able to get some support and bring both? Would your vet allow that? I get charged a bit more but my vet is fine with it.
Yes if you can take both cats that might be the way to do it if at all possible. It might be of some help before the specialist appointment.

It's a tough call- I can hardly afford one cat appt, let alone 2 or 3...Timmy requires gas,,his appts are a bundle....I hate that money is a factor but it is-
Circumstances have changed drastically

I completely understand that. Don't know much about the board meeting you had but that sounded incredibly expensive for everyone.Plus you have your own health concerns. You have to eat and the cats have to eat.If you don't have a roof over your head neither do your cats.

When Valentino had immune mediated hemolytic anemia we spent a lot of money trying to keep him going. It was to the point where one vet said to me well if you don't want to spend anymore money on him. The other vet said he's going fast in the wrong direction. Bottom line for us is I could not save him no matter what I did. Terrible deadly disease for cats but he was only going to suffer more. It could not be about me not wanting to lose him.

So money is an issue. We can only do what we can. I know you your ❤❤❤ is about the cats but money is a definite issue and everything and I mean everything has gotten really expensive

Timmy is acting like himself again - he was even out on the patio this morning( before sunrise) and being his snuggly self.....there's no discharge but the pupil is still dilated and Iris discoloration

I'm glad hes better than he was as we wait for his appt,it doesn't seem to be causing discomfort for the time being though taking in all that light must be uncomfortable for him-probably why he's not out in the patio in the sun I have the verticals partly drawn

It is but I know I need to find out what's going on- I'm trying not to think beyond each day because it's just overwhelming..... Max has eye problems but he's very easy to treat with drops,,ointment, pills - anything..... Timmy is just utterly impossible so it complicates everything,I don't want any of my babies to have any problems but most of all - not Timmy, not Timmy.... it's like a knife in my heart

I did double up on his Llysine suppliment- that stuff is amazing for eye support- he just hopped up next to me and the Iris is greenish again and pupil not as enlarged....

I'm glad because I've got to run out to give someone's cat insulin now and go to someone else's house to help with her sick sister- I can feel better about leaving for a little while.

I'm sorry that you are going over this with Timmy and I do not have any suggestions as I have no experience in this area.

I hope it's not that serious and hope that it'll pass soon.

Sending vibes over :vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes: :vibes:

Rough day but went well..... the lady was happy when we left

I think the Llysine would be great, get the okay from your Vet and I believe it will help

Actually iPappy iPappy is the one who suggested I ask my Vet for Max(FHP) and my Vet raved about it not just for the eyes but the viral support immune booster

tabbytom tabbytom I loved those vibes!!!I was trying to catch ALL of them, rofl

Alldara Alldara - I'm really counting on that trust bank for carrier day..... 3 days ago I moved it and everyone is hogging it with Timmy's favorite blankey and treats- except Timmy of course :dunno: :rolleyes3:

Vet thought a small amount of L lysine would be good and she also wants to continue eye ointment for another week . This cat wrap has helped us a lot as she is very difficult to to do anything to including pill her but was expensive.I am more concerned with her eye dripping and being a little gunky then she is most of the time. She got into a room that is closed to her the other day. Now she is crying to get into that room everyday. This morning she went into the bedroom that is across from that room opened the drawers tossed my socks etc all over the floor. She is a very good communicator ' I am upset you won't let me in that room'. 15 years old plus and still throws temper tantrums!
I had forgot about L lysine!
I am glad yesterday went well and hope Timmy is still more comfortable. Hugs to you Kwik

Glad your Vet approved,I hope it clears up now with the extra week of ointment

If every cat was like my Max that would make life so simple- that sweet angel comes over for his eye drops,pills- anything- he's even better than my Cheech was if that's possible- he's a dream

He and Timmy look a lot alike ,their eyes are very different from behind can't tell except for Timmy's clipped ear,lol

So adorable, and him and Timmy look like brothers. I had a cat that was super easy to pill he took a pill a day. Mom and Dad took care of him when I was away at school. Mom calls me a says he opens his mouth and lets him put the pill down his throat. Yep he sure did easy as could be. Izzy I might as well be trying to pill a panther. As you well know you don't understand difficult until you have one like this, but boy do we love them!

Yes we do- people just don't get it( except our TCS family)

Yesterday I told a friend from church I can't come Sunday because I'm talking care of a cat for someone going away & she needs her insulin & SubQ- she said" A CAT?!" A lot of people are not like us,so I miss Christmas service?

Sometimes I have to remind church folks that LOVE comes before tradition and ritual..... and we LOVE our furbabies

I wonder is that: A cat needs insulin? or are they surprised the cat comes first? or both? Folks that don't have cat or don't get our love for them seem to be surprised by many things.😏

I don't know- I thought she was surprised about the insulin for a CAT) but then was surprised I'd not come to church- I explained insulin has to be given at a specific time so it's not like she can have it earlier or later--- which it was funny because we were at her sisters house- who is diabetic on insulin twice a day.... so seems people don't realize cats require meds just as a human, get sick just like we do and need proper care - just like we do.....???? I don't know what they think( or IF they think, lol)
