Huge thing- I was sitting on my bed getting dressed,Timmy watching- never wants to jump up on my bed so yesterday I just leaned over and picked him up(first time all fours off the ground) - he just hung there like a wet noodle- lol And I put him next to me on the bed- he just hopped down but I was very happy will his non reaction.... My sweet boy

I hated to spoil things but today was Revolution Day- Did Timmy first,he took off like a banchi as usually when he felt the solution - I expected not to see him for at least an hour but surprisingly about 5 minutes later he come snuggling up on the couch beside me- such a great guy,a really really darling cat😺
What a good boy. All that hard work pays off.

As we rack up trust in the trust bank, when we make withdraws to do things they don't like, they are able to react more calmly.

I'm going to steal that one from you ( well, share or borrow) very cool analogy, like making deposits in a bank - brilliant, love that👍and earning interest too!❤

Months back Timmy's eye( green eyes)turned brown and he saw the Vet,his eye was dilating well and on Llysine the Iris turned back green
Yesterday,he woke up from a nap with alot of discharge from same eye- it obviously bothering him,he's staying to himself and seems to be avoiding the sunlight....Today the Iris has turned brown again but I can see the pupil is not working as it should- I made appt for ophthalmologist Jan 7th

Timmy is my worry kitty especially because it's impossible to give him meds or treatment etc.... my heart is already aching,I didn't really want to talk about it .... well, thats what's going on- there's so many things it could be,I don't want to see him uncomfortable or hurting not one single day.....it's very hard, very hard -I was going to take him in to my regular Vet but he needs opthalmology specialist.....

I am so sorry to hear this Kwik. I hope Timmy gets the care he needs and I can understand why he is your worry kitty. It is difficult to imagine having to get our feral cats to the vets for treatment (even though I know your Timmy is a total love bug now). I imagine ex ferals never fully recover from life on the streets and interactions with new people in a strange environment will always be stressful for them.

Good luck! If he is not suffering from pain I am sure he will do just fine with you however I am hoping for a full resolution of his symptoms.

I am incredibly sorry to hear this about Timmy Kwik Kwik . Eye problems are very worrisome. Is there any chance of getting on a call list in case a appointment becomes available sooner? I know getting specialists appointments can be difficult. Izzy is on ointment and antibiotics for an eye infection now but that is easy for a regular vet to deal with. What in the world, your poor sweet boy. My heart just dropped reading this.Timmy is more particular then Izzy about what goes in his mouth with Izzy I have just have be putting her antibiotics in a piece of sardine ( and have be super lucky it is going right down) but if I remember correctly that is not of interest to Timmy. You are both in my prayers for the best possible outcome.❤❤❤Please keep us posted.

That is right,my boy is not food motivated at all....I think it hurts,he's turning his face away- and he is on a call list though that would be extremely difficult to load him in a hurry

Could be uvitis, glaucoma & a host of other things I don't want to think about, nothing good.. I have been having chest pains myself and just came from my own DrAppt- I'm so stressed it's unbelievable

It kills me to see him off by himself unwell......no cuddles,he only got up to eat lunch and went back to Bellas bed behind the chaise out of the light.....

I really wish I could help you somehow.I get having chest pains. or other things due to stress.I think you have enough going on, but something going on with your sweet love bug I know breaks your heart. Yes them isolating is a big 'tell'. I forgot that getting him into a carrier on short notice could be an issue.I also read about the things it could be after reading your post and understand what your thinking and feeling. I don't know if he will let you clean the discharge around his eye while your waiting for this appointment. I don't know of anything else you could do in the meantime.I hope your drs appointment went well it must have been difficult with what was going on with Timmy. Please take care of yourself Kwik

I'm so sorry Kiwk. You know, even us humans have to wait for care even though we have pain and are uncomfortable. So try not to feel to bad about that.

Is he using a hiding spot? Boxes are so good for under the weather cats. Or other hidy-holes. Are your carriers out? Magnus only ever lay in his carrier when he was REALLY sick one time. But boy was I glad he did.

Please take some time to do some meditation or something for yourself daily. 🥰🥰🥰

You do help- thank God my Dr understands how much my furbabies mean to me- she knows I can't stand Rx meds but wrote me a prescription anyway and suggested breaking a little piece ( as needed) and before we talk about anything else we'll get back to the cardiolist - first she gave me info about Broward County Heart Heart health project for free tests that insurance doesn't cover(CCTA test)that you apply for yourself( Dr's can't order it( then youd be charged-patients that are eligible can get it done and get results themselves) so I'm going to put in my request since I meet the requirements

Its a catch 22- I get stressed & my chest hurts and when my chest hurts it gets me stressed,lol- gee

I gave Timmy more Llysine at lunch and yesterday I managed to clean his eye when he finally came up for snuggles- this morning after breakfast he played down with me and we cuddled,he was rubbing his face on my hand over his eye and no discharge this morning

Iris is brown and his pupils are uneven though he's out and about

Not really hiding or going in any cubbies( lots of cubbies here )but he was more reclusive and not in his usual spots that are ontop of the chaise or his bed across from me- which are in the light.....

The carrier is always out but I've got to peak his interest by putting it outside on the patio table again- if it's outside I can probably put him in it if I work with him a bit on it- I have appt with my Vet for Graycie Dec 30th- I've considered bringing Timmy instead- my brain is scattered & undecided,I'm on overload lately and can't seem to think straight on much- I even forgot to pay my property taxes- I called,it's fine and not due until end of month ( I'm just always ahead of things so clearly I'm preoccupied)

Thank you for being here, you know I love you❤

Sending you so much love.

Are you able to get some support and bring both? Would your vet allow that? I get charged a bit more but my vet is fine with it.

I've done it many times with my Vet when he owned the Animal Hospital - he is presently semi retired and works as a relief Vet other Practices( I go where he is ,it's been difficult getting appts to say the least)

I'm not sure what I want to do ,really.... I'll likely see what the time brings me to.....Timmy is so skittish today I don't know what appt day will look like

My baby is not feeling himself- neither am I

Awwww. Of course he's skittish when he doesn't feel good. Poor baby.
