Very good progress and I think in no time, he’ll be up on your bed. He's halfway to the kitchen since I covered that mirrored wall and I'm hoping to see him jump up on my bed,he's been really stretching to see Sami & Max sleeping there and now realizes he can go in there for dry food and water as well....it's a brave new world!
I hope so,I wish I could get up from the floor because then I'd lie on the floor and no doubt we'd already be cuddling and surely he'd hop up on the bed and couch--- Timmy is very polite,I'd love to make the first move but until my knee replacements - not gonna happen or I'll be the lady on TV" help I've fallen & can't get up"!!!!! LolVery good progress and I think in no time, he’ll be up on your bed.
To encourage him to get up the bed, place a step for him so that at least for the first try, he can get on the step and take a look on what's up there before making a blind jump.I hope so,I wish I could get up from the floor because then I'd lie on the floor and no doubt we'd already be cuddling and surely he'd hop up on the bed and couch--- Timmy is very polite,I'd love to make the first move but until my knee replacements - not gonna happen or I'll be the lady on TV" help I've fallen & can't get up"!!!!! He stands up on his hind legs to see now- he just might hop up when Sami and Max are not up there as he did with my dresser,he sees Max take that route to the window but waits till no one is up there to try it,he's very unintrusive and behaves cautiously in " their" territory as an uninvited guest.... he's much more confident to approach the others in the half of the living room which he's established as " his " area....he's very hesitant to explore into the unfamiliar territoryTo encourage him to get up the bed, place a step for him so that at least for the first try, he can get on the step and take a look on what's up there before making a blind jump.
Timmy is a good boy and very well mannered. He knows the rules. He stands up on his hind legs to see now- he just might hop up when Sami and Max are not up there as he did with my dresser,he sees Max take that route to the window but waits till no one is up there to try it,he's very unintrusive and behaves cautiously in " their" territory as an uninvited guest.... he's much more confident to approach the others in the half of the living room which he's established as " his " area....he's very hesitant to explore into the unfamiliar territory
Bella is quite the hindrance, she's extremely territorial and does her best to prevent him from moving about by making her presence known- there's alot of activity,I've gotta hand it to Timmy,he's got alot of different personalities to engage with and for a boy who lead a solitary life he's pretty incredible
Yes,he is amazingly well mannered,a very special sweet boy and I'm pretty crazy about him..... strange thing is he reminds me of my Cheech ,just something about him TT.... different color,I bottle fed my little Cheech and he was a real lap cat but something about Timmy-Cheech passed 7yrs ago,Timmy is 7,makes me wonder about some stuffTimmy is a good boy and very well mannered. He knows the rules.
I'm not sure about such things but I think you've got a good deal.Timmy-Cheech passed 7yrs ago,Timmy is 7,makes me wonder about some stuff
Me neither and I agree, got a really good deal!I'm not sure about such things but I think you've got a good deal.
Maybe it is his favorite color too?well,he looked down and thought " what's this?" And I felt his teeth grab my big toenail-rofl
Himself in the mirror or maybe me & him in the mirror, lol
I think he must be wondering why is there another handsome cat that looks like me looking at me.............................Himself in the mirror or maybe me & him in the mirror, lol
Doesn't look so spooked by it,does he?
I think Timmy knows where is the limit and boundary and also knows to stay clear of Bella as he was studying the situation before leaving the cubby. Good that he has Max, Sami and Graycie and you as company and maybe later Bella will accept Timmy.Just a 4 month update:
Timmy is doing great,he's learning his name plus they all respond to " babies "!and Timmy knows that includes him..... he and Max play alot, they get rough so it's easy to think they are fighting put never flattened ears & neither make a sound, they just tumble alot, wrestle, bite( not hard) and smack without claws-so those 2 are the playmate
I still believe he adores Sami the most and Sami has finally stopped hissing at him and is starting to oblige Timmy with a few liicks on the head when Timmy head butts him ... Graycie, well she's just the sweet watcher but she does enjoy eating with Timmy -she eats best in his company
Bella is the problem child and has been giving me grief from the start -she was the first to go into his enclosure, eat from his dishes and use his litterbox so I thought it could go 2ways -it was good for Timmy to learn about sharing territory( his) but she is not happy to let him share the rest of the house
