Tiger is a pretty kitty, but does not seem to be Maine Coon. There is a good article here on the Maine Coon Cat. It shows some good pics.

My husbands boss has two registered Maine Coon Cats. One is a classic brown tabby and one is a silver tabby. They remind me a lot of a miniature Lynx with the ear tufts and toe tufts.

I would say, Tiger is Red and White, or red tuxedo if you want to. Technically he is tabby as you say, but as I understand it, all reds are also more or less tabbies. So this is really not so they are called, unless the tabby is "loud and clear", which it isnt on him, his are visible but still rather faintly...
Sweet boy. Unless you are a mouse of course. To mices and such he is surely verry fearsome!
