And here are kitteh shots from this morning:

IMG_3264.JPG IMG_3265.JPG IMG_3266.JPG

All three kittehs were holed up in that wooden privacy screen during a rain shower, meant to get a pic but I got sidetracked while knocking out some household chore. Little Tiger sure likes that ledge or walkway in the privacy screen, he'll lie up there for an hour at a time, snoozin' away, LOL. We also have Crackhead beneath the flowering weed, I'd like to transplant that thing over by the fence because I like the colors, but I'd probably kill the plant by trying to move it, since the roots are wedged up under that slab. Reckon I'll just enjoy the flowers while they're blooming, then trim the branches back to ground level. :sigh:

Beautiful. For some reason the camera just doesn't pick up the colors that you see with the eye.
It's not a bad camera, this Canon Power Shot ELPH 360 HS, but it doesn't seem to do well in fading light... of course, I don't really know all the methods of tweaking the camera to produce a better picture, I just flip the button to "Creative Shots" mode now and then to see what the camera kicks out in the way of pics. The whole zoom lens control process is beyond me, I can't keep up with modern technology... my "zoom" consists of walking closer to the subject, LOL. :rolleyes3:

Round #2 of weekend kitteh shots... :dizzycat:

IMG_3313.JPG IMG_3314.JPG IMG_3315.JPG IMG_3316.JPG IMG_3317.JPG IMG_3318.JPG IMG_3330.JPG IMG_3331.JPG IMG_3332.JPG IMG_3334.JPG

Kittehs sure make themselves comfortable in our home... they like the camp chairs on deck too, those are very comfortable, LOL. :sleepycat:

Kittehs also like playing with those camp chairs... the securement straps make perfect dangling cat toys, as Crackhead demonstrates below, while the fabric is great for sharpening claws, LOL. :climbcat:

IMG_3335.JPG IMG_3336.JPG IMG_3338.JPG IMG_3360.JPG IMG_3361.JPG IMG_3348.JPG IMG_3349.JPG IMG_3350.JPG IMG_3351.JPG IMG_3362.JPG

Phoenix & Tiger were chasing each other around the yard, one caromed off the other and knocked the blue water dish a-flyin'... had to refill it, thanks to those knucklehaids!!! The weeds are greening up in the yard due to recent rains, so the kittehs have a nice little play area with plenty of grass clumps and flowers to hide behind as they stalk each other, LOL. I sure like those bright flowers, I planted a bunch of wildflower seeds about a week ago so I'm hoping for some nice bright splashes of color in the yard, pronto...

So... I was watching some movies yesterday afternoon and evening, and the kittehs joined me in my room. I have a home theater set up back there, since the master bedroom was large enough for me to put the leather reclining sofa opposite the 65" curved screen. Left my bed somewhat between the two, but no worries, it doesn't block the view or anything... just took awhile to get used to the idea of having the home theater in my bedroom. Had I put the curved screen in the Pool Room with the 8' table, that would've left little room for the sofa, so this is how things worked out. I put the 50" or 55" flatscreen out in the Pool Room (can't remember the exact size of the flatscreen, but it's big enough for watching football or movies while shooting stick). Anyway, I brought the Canon cam into my room yesterday to snap a few pics of the kittehs as they were lounging, and occasionally snoozing. I also took a short break to snap some sunset pics, so today we have a mix of sunset & kitteh pics!!! WOOHOO!!! Here we go... :runningcat:

IMG_3453.JPG IMG_3455.JPG IMG_3456.JPG IMG_3457.JPG IMG_3459.JPG IMG_3460.JPG IMG_3461.JPG IMG_3463.JPG IMG_3464.JPG IMG_3465.JPG IMG_3468.JPG IMG_3469.JPG

"YO, TIGER, GET YER PAWS OFF MY TINNY!!!" :angrycat:

Little Phoenix & Tiger sure crash hard after a long day of running around, chasing bugs & lizards (and an occasional bird), hitting the food & water bowls, etc., etc. But that's okay, I love my little kittehs, they're the only real family I have left, go figure. Meh, more kitteh pics on the way... :petcat:

Check these cat lounging pics:

IMG_3472.JPG IMG_3474.JPG IMG_3475.JPG IMG_3477.JPG IMG_3479.JPG IMG_3480.JPG IMG_3481.JPG IMG_3483.JPG IMG_3484.JPG IMG_3485.JPG IMG_3486.JPG IMG_3487.JPG

Yeah, those kittehs sure make themselves comfortable, LOL... little Phoenix gets wound around like a rubber band, she should've been a contortionist, 10-4? That last pic is another shot of the "Chia Pet Ocotillo" in my front yard, the leaves are really going off, they give the plant an entirely different appearance.

WELL, THAT'S IT FOR TODAY'S PICS... CHEERS!!!

More kitty-cat pics:

IMG_3520.JPG IMG_3522.JPG IMG_3524.JPG IMG_3525.JPG IMG_3526.JPG IMG_3527.JPG IMG_3528.JPG IMG_3531.JPG IMG_3532.JPG IMG_3534.JPG

Phoenix is a real sleepyhead at night, she looks funny when briefly woken. Tiger & Crackhead sacked out on the bed last night... every morning I neatly make the bed, every evening it looks like this, LOL. :sleepycat:

P.S. Oh, yeah, there's one of those Vans Hi-Top skate shoes I use as doorstops, you can see where the kittehs have loosened the laces with all their clawing, LOL. Those krazy kats sure love tearing away at those shoes... meh, no worries, my skatin' days are over now that I'm in my late 50s.

Another round of kitty-cat pics:

IMG_3536.JPG IMG_3537.JPG IMG_3539.JPG IMG_3540.JPG IMG_3550.JPG IMG_3551.JPG IMG_3554.JPG IMG_3555.JPG IMG_3558.JPG IMG_3559.JPG

Those goofy cats migrate into different positions while they're sleeping... I'll take a pic, check again in 15 or 20 minutes and they've mysteriously shifted, LOL. That flowering plant is still going off, little Tiger sure likes to sprawl in the shade under the plant and watch the world go by... bugs, birds, lizards, sooner or later he sees 'em all.

Here are a few more sky shots, along with some kitteh pics:

One shot shows the youngsters under the metal awning, riding out a rain shower... subsequent thunderclaps drove them into the house.

I was watering some plants with that pitcher seen in the photos, and Crackhead just HAD to climb into the sink... I usually keep a bowl of water in the sink so he can drink from it if he wants, since he spends a fair amount of time up on the kitchen counter. He likes to watch the birds through that window over the sink, LOL. Anyway, here are a few shots of Crackhead, with some sky shots thrown in for good measure:

IMG_3700.JPG IMG_3701.JPG IMG_3702.JPG IMG_3703.JPG IMG_3705.JPG IMG_3706.JPG IMG_3707.JPG IMG_3713.JPG IMG_3714.JPG IMG_3716.JPG

Sometimes he'll sit up on the window sill, I widened all of the sills in my home for that very purpose, but he usually sprawls on the counter or sits & stares at the birds in the yard. He's a funny cat... I guess all of 'em are, but since Sage went MIA Crackhead is the cat I've had for the longest period of time. Let's see, I rescued him from a White Mountain shelter just before Christmas of 2016, he was two months old when I first met him, so I reckon he's nearly three years old, while the youngsters are pushing a year in age. :runningcat:

Had another storm blow through, wasn't as dramatic as the last one but I still took some pics:

IMG_3789.JPG IMG_3792.JPG IMG_3793.JPG IMG_3794.JPG IMG_3795.JPG IMG_3796.JPG IMG_3797.JPG IMG_3799.JPG IMG_3800.JPG IMG_3802.JPG IMG_3801.JPG IMG_3803.JPG

Yeah, I like the sky here, the air is so clean and the cloud formations are usually quite dramatic... beats looking at some polluted ghetto back in San Diego.

Weekend kitteh shots:

IMG_3838.JPG IMG_3839.JPG IMG_3840.JPG IMG_3841.JPG IMG_3842.JPG IMG_3843.JPG IMG_3844.JPG IMG_3845.JPG IMG_3846.JPG IMG_3847.JPG

This is why I widened all the window sills in my home... Tiger alternately lounging and chasing a small moth while Crackhead drinks from a bowl in the sink. :blackcat:

More kitteh pics & a bug with a trick paint job, I saved this beetle after Tiger noticed it and started messing with it... moi, I liked the critter's paint job, and I don't care if the beetle eats a few flowers, we gots plenty!!!

IMG_3848.JPG IMG_3849.JPG IMG_3850.JPG IMG_3851.JPG IMG_3852.JPG IMG_3865.JPG IMG_3866.JPG IMG_3867.JPG IMG_3868.JPG IMG_3869.JPG

Aww... little Phoenix sure is a cutie!!! Slab is cracked, but it's not a foundation slab, just a slab under the metal awning, so no worries, I'll eventually fill it... bought the filler weeks ago, but I haven't been motivated to do much outside work in the heat. Meh, I don't hear the cats complaining...

Some of the sky pics in the middle of this round were "enhanced" in 'Creative Shots' mode, but the colors are actually closer to the mark, LOL. :redcat:

Caught all three kittehs napping on the sofa yesterday evening:

IMG_3967.JPG IMG_3969.JPG IMG_3970.JPG

I don't see all three this close together very often... so I had to snap some pics.

I was watching a movie last night, went to the kitchen to grab another beer, returned to my room and found all three kittehs in the next seat:

IMG_3991.JPG IMG_3996.JPG IMG_3997.JPG IMG_3999.JPG IMG_4000.JPG IMG_4002.JPG IMG_4003.JPG IMG_4004.JPG IMG_4005.JPG IMG_4006.JPG IMG_4007.JPG

Last two pics were taken after the party ended, LOL. Little Tiger looks pretty cool against that starry quilt... my sis made that quilt for me, it has a striking pattern on the other side, but I protect that side by leaving this starry side up, plus this side is smoother to the touch. Kitteh-approved!!! :sleepycat:
