Okay, here's one last Canadian singer, then I'll get a different theme.

@foxxycat --You will like this song, "You're so much more than good enough." :)

Good Enough by Sarah McLachlan

Probably the closest I can come is Manhattan Transfer's 'Boy from New York City's. There is another song- I don't remember who did it, offhand- 'For the Longest Time'.

Friends, cat lovers, colleagues....

I haven't been 100% honest.
I have a confession you'll all find shocking and will probably cause a lot of you to decide to disassociate yourselves with me, but I'm prepared for that.
But I need to be honest with you all.

Today was a Metallica day for me.

The unforgiven

Wherever I may Roam

Enter Sandman

I only like this one album these songs were on. The other stuff is too hard rock for my taste but these songs bring me back to high school. And the school dances when they cranked these songs. The good ol days.

Add on. This one is long. about 9 minutes long.
The call of ktulu

I like a lot of songs by Metallica. Fade to Black is a song that I can really relate to. As someone who is struggling with depression, the lyrics to that one are a pretty accurate description of my feelings.

a few more of my favorites by Metallica:

1 bruce 1 1 bruce 1 --With the week I've had, that's not all that shocking... I remember all those things in the Mark Wills song! "Big hair and parachute pants. Oh man did I look cheesy." That sums up the 80s for me.

Here's a song you might like:

My Father's Daughter by Jewel & Dolly Parton
