Lari Lari and rubysmama rubysmama --You're slacking! C'mon. Surely you're listening to some tunes! We could do themes again.
For Papa and my Cats:

Candle in the water
Drifting helplessly
Hiding from the thunder
Come and rescue me

One touch overcomes the silence
Love still survives
Two hearts needing one another
Give me wings to fly

Céline Dion - Where Does My Heart Beat Now

Speaking only for myself, I'm really not listening to many tunes these days, as I'm mostly reading in my free time. The themes were fun, but there were more of us posting here then, so not sure if they'd work again, or not.

Here's a song, for now. I'll try to post at least 1 every day.

Only When It Rains - Frank Walker, Astrid S

I really do feel like I'm barely functioning these days.
Sending hugs your way Lari Lari . It will get better. 🤗

Here's a song for you, that you might relate to. Except the twins part.

I found it on this site, if you might want to check out some of the others:
47 Songs About Having a Baby - Music Grotto

And here's a song about flowers and rain, on this sunny winter day.

I want to shimmer, I want to shine
I want to radiate
I want to live, I want to love
I want to try & learn how not to hate

Who remembers this one?

I certainly do - and always loved it and the young man with glasses :)!

Today I was sitting in a care home with a resident in quarantine - me dressed up in protective turban, gloves and overall and listening to CDs featuring Deep Purple. My friend used to play Deep Purple to drown the noise of neighbours fighting or their children practising on the piano or guitar. Unfortunately he didn't recognise the songs I'd found :disappointed:.
It was hardly the sort of music one expects to hear in a carehome but the rooms are quite soundproof.

Most of the recordings were new to me too, but this gentle instrumental piece is simply amazing ! Love it! Can't stop playing it.

Hank Marvin...could listen to him all day long.

Used to be a Deep Purple fan many moons ago. I remember losing a DP album on a plane once. Left it in the overhead bin. I'm a bit less rock 'n' roll these days.

The moment I let go of it
Was the moment I got more than I could handle
The moment I jumped off of it
Was the moment I touched down

Alanis Morissette - Thank U

Her voice sounds really low now. Good lyrics though.

Way up higher
Than we've ever been
No we won't stop at the ceiling
So let's keep waking up dreaming
