You might like this, the first song I'm learning on drums is Livin' on a Prayer! Honestly have never listened to this song so much...I can *almost* do the first verse after my lesson today. My teacher made a mess of the chorus and bridge notation so I'm scared to try that haha he suddenly introduced new rhythms and the other two cymbals and I was like "whoa hold on" and he started blasting the song and was like "OK PLAY!" haha dude I haven't even read it yet...I'm not sure if he teaches this way because I"m a quick learner or because I'm a slow learner to be honest. I like to think I'm picking it up decently quick but IDK maybe next week I'll record myself playing it and post it here!
Very cool. And, sure, post it here. I'd love to hear it. :)

It's been a long and lonely ride
But if I got a call in the dead of the night
I'd be right by your side"

This song came out when I was in high school, so I have a soft spot for it.

Graduation (Friends Forever) - Vitamin C

You've Got a Friend in Me - Randy Newman

Wannabe - Spice Girls

That's What Friends are For - Dionne Warwick

That's probably enough for now.

Love this song. Unfortunately, a Shakespearean scholar later told me that "Romeo and Juliet" was not meant to be a romance, but a morality tale about the evils of disobeying your family (you die). Kinda ruined the play and the movie(s) for me, but I still love the song.
