This wasn't written as a song about fathers, but my friend's father sang it to her at her graduation party (he was a professional singer) and it made me cry...the lyrics are SO what a father would say to a daughter!

I love this show!! @Jem started a thread about TV theme songs, and although this is a real song and not written as the theme for the show, it reminded me of the how much I enjoyed it. If you've never seen it, maybe get all seasons from the library and binge watch on rainy day.

This came across my YouTube feed and I listen to it now. It is a Thai rock band. I like the lead guitarist very much, and it's worth watching just for the blissful smile on her face as she plays. They are 15/16 years old, but play like veterans. Their name is The Ambulance.

Yeah! You listen to the lyrics a lot differently when you realize "Well I just heard the news today/seems my life is gonna change" = positive pregnancy test, and the song is being sung to an unborn baby.

You're doing good! You've also inspired me, and I think I might start back at page 1 again, and listen to all the songs too, as I tend to skip over the songs I'm not familiar with. Will let y'all know my progress, once I start.

It's actually been really fun! I'm discovering great songs I've never heard before and a lot of songs I like I have actually heard before, but I never knew the name, so didn't realize I knew them!
