I can totally identify with this cat, although I have never heard of cats having this condition. Years ago, when I was much younger, I started getting white patches on my elbows. Then I got them on my knees. Then I got them on my face and then splotches everywhere. I was diagnosed with vitiligo. I found a make up to use on my face that was three stages of stuff. For a time, I was very self conscious and thought I was ugly. I wanted my arms and legs to be even colored so tried some rub on stuff that broke me out in hives. I can not allow my self much time in the sun because of loss of pigment in my skin. Now the splotches are gone. My skin looks like porcelain. People comment all the time to me how beautiful it is. I am thinking, "If you only knew."
