But no, Mia. The good reply is when everybody concerned MEETS everybody else's OPINION or POINT of view.. There you have the 3 words proposed = c---------e is a noun, by the way.

Let me try again: if the same OPINION is MET, with the same POINT of view there is "agreement", "likeness", "similarity", i.e c---------e. The same word with the same meaning could end with "y".

Are you ALL sleeping or as Sombra "says" sometimes: "don't you want to play anymore?":hellocomputer::flail:

I was going to guess “confluence,” but that doesn’t seem quite right.

No, not confluence, Tobermorey. Think of concurrence of opinions or results.

I never thought of the word in question as being unusual. The equivalent in Spanish is used frequently.

Consonance is the last idea I have. I know we’ll all shake our heads at how obvious it was when we finally find out! :)

You are giving me synonymes of the word in question, in other words you have the right meaning but not the right word. Keep trying :read:

It ends "ence" not "ance" Tobermorey. I have arrived at the conclusion that "my" word is not used in America with the same meaning as it is in England. The word in question is "convergence" the definition of which in my Collins English Dictionary is "concurrence of opinions or results" so I will accept "concordance" which means the same thing .Your turn Tobermorey.:yess:

PS. Would love to know how "convergence" is define in your American dictionary.

Convergence! Of course! No, it’s used the same way here. I just didn’t think of it! You stumped us all. :)

I had another grouping of words ready, but now I’ve forgotten them. I’ll be back!
