Actually debbila and you have given synonyms of the word in question. I have just asked one of my grandsons, who is a professor in the American School here in Montevideo, to check the word g - - - - - y in his American dictionary and he confirmed the word is there with a similar definition as in my British English dictionary. Wakey, wakey then
