Here's something I threw together. Above is Pimenta shortly after arriving at our home, she was about four months old. Below is Pimenta all grown up. Taken a few days ago, Pimenta is now roughly a year and a half old (say, 19-20 months). The little girl is all grown up :tabbycat:

What a difference! From skinny teenager to beautiful swan!
Very true. Pimenta was long and lanky as a kitten; we use to joke about "Pimenta and her tail" because it was so long in proportion to the rest of her. Now she is still lanky, especially compared to Pantera, but has some muscle on her bones. She now looks small, but at ~3.5kg (say, about eight lbs.) she packs a punch. Pantera trained her well :bat::tabbycat:

My first close up look at Honeybunny. I discovered her living in a vacant lot after pulling over to make a phone call.

Lured her to the fence with beef jerky-it was all i could find at the corner gas station.

And today- 4 years later, 3 lbs heavier & spoiled rotten.

She runs the house

Is obsessed with my purse for reasons only she knows

Loves to tear around the house and perch atop this leather chair and dare anyone to challenge her

And ends every night curled up snug as a bug in a rug

subtle changes, her iris isn’t as clear anymore and there’s now a few spots on her nose. Markers of the passage of time. I would’ve loved to see what she looked like as a kitten 🥺!

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Pantera at approx. 3 1/2 months of age and now at three and a half years old. And still, her main interpersonal skills consist of intimidation. Maybe she watched too many wildlife videos as a kitten; she certainly acts out the lion and jaguar parts  :loveeyes::loveeyes:
