One does not choose to whom they are attracted. It just sort of happens.

Would you ever want to live in a castle?
Sure if it was remodeled in a modern way, and off the Siege List.

Would you want to live in a "Tiny House"?

Didn't we just have that question? Yes, so long as I lived alone.

Would you ever want to win millions in the lottery?

I wouldn't mind but as long as I have enough to please my everyday pleasures and needs I am contented with a lot less.

Would you ever overspend your means trusting your good luck will provide at a later date?

No. I visited The Biltmore in North Carolina which was home to the Vanderbilts. I found it beautiful but cold. I like coziness. It was a mansion, I guess, not a castle.

If you were being held captive and your captors wanted information from you, classified government info, and if you didn't tell them what they wanted to hear they would kill your cats, would you talk?

@DoomsDave  I'd heckle my Head of State first for inviting a dictator.  I would have loved to have had a go at Maggie Thatcher when she invited Hosni Mubarak and Augusto Pinochet around for tea and cakes.  So, I guess the answer is, yes, haha!

Would you ever have reason to be invited for tea and cakes at No 10, Downing St, London?

(Good on ya for heckling Ms. Attila, if only in spirit.)

Not unless they wanted an idiot to heckle, and have heckle them back . . .

Would lay before the bulldozers to stop a construction project you hated? (E.g., that pipeline in the Dakotas?)

Yes but I would need help getting up!

(I would love to have tea and cakes just about anywhere!)

Would you ever take a boat to Europe if you lived in the states?

Absolutely!

Would you take a boat to Hawaii if you lived off the islands?

Yes, absolutely.   I've already done it once.

Would you ever change banks over negative reports about them in the news?

Not without an investigation. That said, I'm more of a credit union person anyway.

Would you shop at Wal Mart?

I started boycotting Walmart in 2000 so will try to avoid shopping there as long as I can afford to do so.  But if there was no other way, then I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Would you get your groceries delivered?

No. Too many stores reasonably nearby.

Would you shop at Nordstrom? Or other very expensive store?

I've bought a couple of things from there in the past, on sale, but these days?  No way.

Would you ever display something old and faded or in need of repair, just because it reminded you of a departed loved one?

Yes, some of my mother's paintings. (No cats, alas.)

Do you hang on to any articles of clothing that you know you can't wear anymore?

Yes but mostly for sentimental reasons

Would you ever report a co-worker who shirks their responsibilities or mind your own business?

It depends, on let's say, whether they were a brain surgeon or a newspaper delivery boy

Would you ever give up your seat on a gruelling, twenty-hour Indian bus journey, in the desert heat, and have to sit in the aisle, if there were a 10 year old child with no where to sit?

I'd let them sit on my lap. That way we we'd both have a seat.

Would you ever give your coat or sweater to a homeless person who was outdoors in below freezing temps?
