^ Last night (most of yesterday )

V What do you do in the summer when poor weather prevents you from enjoying the outdoors?

^ That's 90% of the time in summer here. I go to air conditioned places like movies, bookstores, restaurants, or stay in and read and play computer games.
> I get more housework done in summer.
V Do you think my 5 year old female kitty would get along with a kitten or young cat?

^ Yes, we brought a baby kitten for Lena and she was 10. It was rough ar first.
She was so jealous she wouldn't eat for 3 days but after about 2 weeks, I caught
her licking him when she didn't know I was there. Then she took over like a mother
hen.
> Another day of storms and humidity. On Monday my sister lost her 30year old oak tree from
the rain, not the wind. She is devastated but no one was hurt.
V-Have you ever had to evacuate your home because of a natural disaster?

^ Only for a gas leak, not a natural disaster.

V Do you do a lot of laundry?

^ Yes. I love my Callie but she sheds a lot so I do at least one load a day that includes anything
she was on.

V What's your favorite part of the day?

^ Early morning when I am drinking tea on the deck with Callie and Vincie.......listening to
the birds sing.
> So hot today, would love to be in Iceland where my friend is trekking.
V- If you could have a second home anywhere where would it be?

^ In my hometown in Maryland, so I could spend part of the year with friends I miss.
> I love purple and decorated my bedroom in different shades of the color.
V Are you a serious napper.... you go to bed or cover up if you sleep on the sofa?

^I can nap just about anywhere, but I prefer to wander to bed because it's cooler and darker in there during the day.

>I love music. I'll listen to just about any kind of music from classical to rock to hop hop to rap....and everything in between.

V Name your favorite way to relax and de-stress.

^ I have different forms of de-stressing but one of my favorite is cuddling with Callie, my big
Maine Coon-Calico sweetie. She seems to know I am feeling rough and gently puts her paw
on my cheek.

V What movie, book, tv program can you enjoy over and over again?

^The Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldan. I can read all of her books and watch the TV show repeatedly (and I do!). Jamie and Claire forever!

^ My favorite cold drink is an ice cold Coca-Cola

V If you could have fresh cut flowers in your home daily, what are some of

^ Zinnias, hydrangeas, tulips to name a few.

^ I adore corn on the cob!
> Our fresh produce is starting up. Nothing like fresh home-grown tomatoes, I even like them
plain with Kosher salt.

^ Yes, I have families of squirrels.

^ I have quite a few favorites, but often I do end up ordering scallops at a restaurant.

^ I enjoy rainy days sometimes,
> Perfect day today. All sun, low humidity, and tomorrow my hair is getting a much needed cut and color.
It's been 5 months! I'm going with the dark red I've been getting but might have her deepen the plum
a bit.
